Ghost hunt Mill Street Barracks with Full Circle Paranormal

Mill Street Barracks,
St Helens

The Mill Street Barracks was built in 1861 as the headquarters for the 47th Lancashire Rifle Volunteer Corps. During its long history, Mill Street Barracks has served as an army base, drill hall, a hospital and a morgue.

During the early 20th century, the Barracks became the base for the 2nd Volunteer Battalion Prince of Wales' Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment). During each World War, it was used as a morgue for fallen soldiers and those killed during bombing raids over the UK.

After World War One, the Barracks was an isolation ward for patients with Tuberculosis. In 1940, The Barracks became the base for 61st Searchlight Regiment of the Royal Artillery (5th Battalion South Lancashire Regiment), and was decommissioned as a military unit in 1969.

The cellar is known to be particularly active, and the building is renowned for being one of the most haunted buildings in the UK.

The Mill Street Barracks has been a favourite location for ghost hunters over the years, with many guests returning again and again to experience this location. A true labyrinth of corridors and rooms, with cellars once used as wartime mortuary areas, and other areas used for TB wards, this building has a varied, emotional history.

Sensitives and mediums have made contact with spirits during investigations, and post-event research has provided information that could corroberate some of their reports. Other guests have been touched by unseen hands, and had an object thrown at them during a vigil when nodoby else was around.

This venue is one of the most emotive locations our team have explored. If you become scared during the evening, we make sure there is a safe break out space for you to go to if needed.

You may believe, you may not. FCP welcome all views, and always attempt to debunk any responses when we can. We lead the investigation and activities, but you decide what you have experienced.....

We don't say everything is paranormal. Many things can be debunked. We want you to explore, investigate, and decide for yourself.
